Hi everyone!! for those who don’t know me I would like to introduce myself. I grew up West of Mount Garnet and spent quite a few years working in the cattle industry. I completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2016 at James Cook University in Townsville and recently moved back to the Atherton Tablelands to pursue my passion for rehabilitation and human movement.
Since graduating, I have completed post graduate training in headache assessment and treatment through the Watson Headache Institute. I also specialize in the assessment and rehabilitation of shoulder pathologies and have postgraduate training in lumbopelvic dysfunctions.
I also have a keen interest in orthopaedic rehabilitation and will work alongside your surgeon to guide you through the difficult recovery following musculoskeletal surgeries.
I am also trained in dry needling techniques and advanced Pilates practice and I am working on the introduction of rehabilitative pilates classes to Healthwise Physiotherapy in the coming months.
I love this community and look forward to offering my clinical skills to assist with all your physiotherapy needs.
